Amir Toussi, MD

Dr. Toussi lived in California and attended the University of California in Davis where he received his bachelor’s degree in neurology, physiology, and behavior. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, during which time he met his wife, who was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Following medical school, he and his wife traveled to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. where he completed his residency training in urology. Dr. Toussi has returned to Pittsburgh with his wife to raise their children near family and to serve as a urologist for the greater Pittsburgh community.

 

Dr. Toussi has contributed to several publications on topics regarding robotic surgery for prostate cancer, bladder and kidney cancer, traction therapy for Peyronie’s Disease and men after radical prostatectomy, and a recent book chapter on office-based procedures for infertility. He is also a member of professional and scientific societies including the American Urologic Association (AUA), the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PMS), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the Allegheny County Medical Society (ACMS).
