Kathleen Hwang, MD

Dr. Hwang is an Associate Professor of the Department of Urology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and serves as the Director of Male Reproductive Health.  She completed her residency in urologic surgery at The University of Virginia Health System and her fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.  
She has previously held an academic appointment as Associate Professor of Surgery (Urology) at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, as well as serving as the Program Director of the Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery fellowship.
Dr. Hwang’s clinical interests include male infertility and male sexual dysfunction.  Her research focuses on new biomarkers of sperm health, new treatment modalities for Peyronie’s Disease, and male fertility preservation in all ages.
