Maria Pere, MD

Maria was born in Texas and raised in Louisiana. Her family, however, is originally from Ecuador where she loves to visit at least once a year to see all of her aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. She went to medical school at LSU where she served as her medical school class president all four years and enjoyed revamping the student curriculum. In medical school she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. In her free time, she loves to hang out with her family, nieces and nephews and friends. She also enjoys a good run at the end of the work day.
