Ronald M. Benoit, Jr., MD, is associate professor of urology and director of General Urology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1990 and completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Systems, Baltimore, in 1996. Before joining UPMC in 2001, he was an attending physician in private practice at Allegheny General Hospital.

Dr. Benoit has broad clinical interests and expertise in many areas of urology. His research focuses on the assessment of health care quality and effectiveness by evaluating a specified outcome or result. Dr. Benoit is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
