Jordan was raised in Bethesda, Maryland. She attended Johns Hopkins University, where she doubled majored in Chemistry and Spanish. She obtained her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. During medical school, Jordan additionally completed the Comprehensive Advanced Medical Program of Spanish (CAMPOS) and earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Public Health. She devoted her time during her medical and public health research pursuits towards studying clinical factors that influence health care delivery and optimizing care for non-English speaking populations. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, cooking, trying new restaurants, reading, traveling, and swimming.
