Vijay Viswanath, MD

Vijay is from Phoenix, Arizona. He majored in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology at Emory University where he had the opportunity to work with immigrant and refugee communities in Atlanta in his role as a leader for Project SHINE. He then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he led the Genetics in Medicine Interest Group while earning his medical degree. His research interests include focal therapy for prostate cancer and cancer genetics. In his free time, Vijay enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, hiking, reading, and learning Chinese.
